_{Alrighty then, we have our finalists for the 'Stormy Skies' contest! Please take a look at all these wonderful deviations and then read the rules below to cast your vote!

Rules for voting:

All members of the group may vote.
Please play fair and do not vote for yourself or ask others to vote for you.
Voting will close at midday GMT on Sunday 24th November. Any votes received after this time will not be counted.

How to vote:

Choose your favourite entry from the 12 above - the one that you think best represents the theme of 'Stormy Skies.' You can only vote for one photo so decide carefully!
Send the number, thumbnail, and/or title of the image (or ideally, all three) in a note to Jemiyah, not to the group. It's much easier for me to organise and keep track of them in my own messages (:

Finalists will be chosen over the weekend and then you will have around a week to vote for your favourite entry. As with the last contest, the randomly-numbered thumbnails will be posted here, and all you have to do is note me with the number of the photo you think should win this contest.

Signs of Autumn are starting to show themselves over here in the UK, so it seems like the perfect time to launch our third contest!

Theme: 'Stormy Skies'

The world doesn't always have to be bright and colourful to be beautiful, so this time, we're looking for photos that show one of the more powerful sides of nature! We want to see your shots of great black stormclouds rolling in, torrential rain, and of course, lightning bolts!

Examples:

Start date: 6th October.
End date: 15th November.

Rules:

No more than three entries per member.
Your entries can be old or new. If a photo you want to submit to the contest is already in the group gallery, you can remove it yourself and resubmit to the contest folder, or note us with a link to the image you'd like to be moved to the contest folder.
Your entries must be 'Photography > Animals, Plants and Nature' deviations.
Entries are subject to vote - if your photo is not in the right category and/or does not fit the theme, it will not be accepted.
It would be appreciated if you mentioned in the artist's comments that your photo has been entered in this contest :3
Finalists will be chosen by the admins and winners will be chosen by you, the members, through a voting process. More details on the voting will be posted nearer the time.
